Had a delicious and delightful experience here. It was quiet, but apparently Father's Day (yesterday) was quite festive. Grilled chicken, very fine. Loved my grilled trout featuring mussels, clams, and shrimp, all in a classic Portugese red sauce. The soccer game was on and there were some locals watching and commenting. Very enjoyable.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently and it was an incredible experience. The steak was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our dining experience was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious steak with great service. However, beware of the location - a little sketchy but that doesn't take away from the service or food.

I hosted my wedding here and it was spectacular! It does require some decorating which my wife did for the tables, chairs and walls. But what really made this special was the host. He gave us significant value for our money. The food was amazing! Never a shortage of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Appetizers were delicious! Big thank you to the host Abel! He’s the man you want to speak with. He’ll make sure you’re taken care of !

The paella was packed with delicious seafood and authentic flavors, and the chicken and ribs were juicy and tender. Everyone in our team loved it! A special thanks to Mr. Dias for his excellent service—he was very professional and attentive. We highly recommend Chaves for any event or gathering. Thank you for the amazing meal!

Thoroughly surprised and impressed with this hidden gem in an industrial part of town! Superb food (esp. the main dishes) , nice price, and great service in a family dining room kind of environment. It looks like they have a daily menu of specials, as we were handed a special menu for the Sunday that we visited. I ordered the stuffed trout, which everyone else shared a mouthful or two, with exclamation marks in their feedback. The carnivores ordered baby goat stew, steak on a hot stone and chicken with mushrooms - they all looked very impressive, and were given top-notch reviews. I don't eat meat, but I trust my fellow diners' taste :-). Even though we were stuffed after consuming the generous portions of the main course, we didn't want to miss their unique desserts, with just enough stomach space to share two. The only pity was their side dishes (included with the main) - they looked and tasted too much like an afterthought. The mains are gourmet tasting, while the sides are bland and uninteresting. Well, this funny phenomenon didn't dampen our enjoyment. We will for sure come back for more!
